Legacy

About James Eadie

James was an actor, director, writer, but above all a teacher. His passionate love of the best in theatre, film and opera set a wonderful example for students and colleagues. He taught in Calgary high schools and at both the U of Alberta and MacEwan University in Edmonton, teaching for 33 years at the latter institution. James could sometimes be demanding and sharp with students, and he made mistakes. But his wit, his kindness, his deep understanding of the fine arts and his dedication to them left an inspiring legacy for the many whose lives he touched.
